Pasquale (Pat) Marinucci

On Thursday, November 29, 2018, Pat Marinucci passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Pat was preceded in death by his loving wife Vera of 54 years. Pat is the loving father of Anna Akins(Bob), and Nick Marinucci; cherished grandfather of Robert, Patrick, Matthew, and Daniel Akins; and a beloved great-grandfather. Pat is the loving brother of the late Salvatore Marinucci, Joe Marinucci, Vince Marinucci, Filomena Marinucci, and Gino Marinucci. He is also survived by a host of other loving family and friends. Pat was born in Sulmona, Italy on September 5, 1927 and immigrated to the United States. He lived in the Silver Spring, Maryland area until 2012 when he settled to Laurel, Maryland to reside with his daughter and son-in-law. Pat enjoyed bowling until this past year, was an avid gardener, and wine maker. He enjoyed cooking, making bread, and cookies. He loved his family and sports especially football and baseball.
