Patricia Irene Elliott

Paricia Irene Elliott, born April 6, 1938 in Annapolis, MD, passed away October 31, 2025 in Laurel, MD. Pat was the daughter of Benjamin Elliott Sr and Marguerite Elliott, also of Laurel, MD. Pat lived in Laurel from the time she was an infant until her death. She attended Laurel Elementary and Laurel High School, graduating in 1956. Upon graduation she pursued a lifelong career with the DC Government, Health and Human Services - as an Executive Assistant, having started her career at the Cedar Knoll facility also located in Laurel, MD. Pat retired in 1993 from the DC Government; In her retirement, Pat was a volunteer for many local charities and was very involved in her church - First United Methodist Church – having taught 3rd grade Sunday School, and was a member of the alter guild, memorials committee, and the church choir. The charity that Pat was most dedicated to was the Pythian Sisters, having served as a Pythian sister as well as holding many of the charities’ official offices such as Grand Chief. Pat was also a lifetime member of the Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary. Pat felt that contributing back to her community was very important. Pat also enjoyed many hobbies such as crafts, crocheting, and piano playing, all of which were tied to her passion of giving back. 

Pat enjoyed remarkable and loving relationships with all of her family; she was pre-deceased by her parents Benjamin Sr. and Marguerite, and her brother Benjamin Jr. and wife Jane Elliott. She is survived by her sister Marguerite Duke and her husband John of Salisbury, MD; nephew Steven of Frederick, MD, niece Kimberly and Don of Laurel, MD, nephew John and wife Amy of New York, nephew Chris Duke and wife Bronwyn of Pennsylvania, and niece Lauren Lasch and Husband Brian of California; and 8 great nieces and nephews: Delaney, Quinlyn, Madeline, Elliott, Parker, James, Reese and Charlotte.

Viewing will be held for family and friends on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD. Services will follow on Tuesday at 11 am from First United Methodist Church, 424 Main Street, Laurel, MD with interment immediately following at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD.
