Patricia Ann Hall

Patricia Ann Hall was born to Jeanetta A. and Irvy S. Hall on July 1st 1954. She was the middle child amongst her 4 sisters: Darlene, Janice, Sharon, and Vanessa. Patricia grew up and lived most of her life in Savage Maryland. Patricia was known by friends and family as Patty. In her youth, Patty was heavily involved in her church's youth group, and would later go on to chaperone during youth group outings and events. She also spent time volunteering with Savage Fire Department .

Patty, along with her sister Sharon and their father Irvy, were involved in a serious car accident in Savage MD leaving her with injuries that would effect the rest of her life.

For 37 years Patty worked at the Howard County District Courthouse as a courtroom clerk.

In 1984 Patty gave birth to her only child, Kevin Michael Hall. Kevin was her whole world and over the years she worked part-time jobs to insure her son had a wonderful happy childhood.

In the mid 2000's Patty began working a part-time job at Chick-fil-A next to Arundel Mills. During her time there she meet many customers how became close friends with. In fact some would go out of their way to go to that specific Chick-fil-A just to see Patty.

In 2008 Patty's son married Brenda Marie Hall and not long after that did Patty and Brenda became very close. Brenda was the daughter Patty never had. Nearly every week for almost 10 years Brenda would drive an hour and a half to take Patty to doctor appointments, afterwards they'd spend the rest of the day going out shopping for groceries or going out to eat or just sitting around and talking for hours. 

Patty LOVED getting out of the house and going places. In fact, covid couldn't even keep those two from going out and doing stuff. Even with all her preexisting health issues, Patty refused to be shut in day after day during those years.

Over the time period of the late 2010's and early 2020's, three of Patty's five sisters passed away leaving just her and her sister Vanessa as the last two surviving siblings. In January 2024, Patty pack up and moved out of the house she had lived in for nearly all her life and moved in with her son and daughter-in-law in La Plata, Maryland. 

Things were going well for a month or two however in March 2024 Patty was hospitalized for many months. The nearly two years that followed were full of more and more hospital stays as Patty's health steadily declined. Even still, she loved talking to friends and family on the phone or thinking up gifts she could buy and ship to someone. 

For quite a while Patty could always bounce back from health emergency after health emergency. But in late June 2026, all Patty's incredible strength and resilience had been fully spent and in the early morning hours of June 27th 2026 Patty went to be with the Lord and all the friends and relatives that had gone before her.
