Patricia A. Haywood

Patricia A. Haywood was born on April 7, 1937 in Westernport, MD to Guy Orndorff and Catherine Nau Orndorff. Patricia went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 5, 2021. She attended St. Peter's High School in Westernport. She married Noel Haywood on November 26, 1955 and moved to Laurel in 1965.

Patricia was part of Women's Aglow Fellowship and was a member of Tabernacle Church of Laurel, MD. She taught Bible studies at adult daycares, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and the Jessup Maximum Security Prison. She also led Bible studies for retreats at her church. She received the Governor's Volunteer Certificate from the State of Maryland for her contribution to faithfully maintaining a deep commitment to positively touching the lives of fellow Marylander's.

She is survived by son-in-law, Neil Birkhoff, of VA and two grandsons, Joshua Birkhoff of CA and Andrew Birkhoff of VA. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Haywood; her daughter Stephanie Haywood Birkhoff; her son Mark Haywood; her daughter, Terri Lynn Haywood; and two sisters, Mary Francis Bever and Catherine Delores Orndorff.
