Patricia Marie O'Brien

Patricia Marie O’Brien, age 75, passed away in Sykesville, MD on Friday, July 14, 2023.

Born March 2, 1948, in West Point, NY, Daughter of (Col Francis W. O’Brien (retd) & Eleanor K. (Lambert) O’Brien.  She lived in Montgomery Village, Maryland, and worked at The World Bank & Deltek, Inc until retiring in 2021. Patricia was a member of Words of Peace Global.

Patricia is survived by her sister Karen L O’Brien of Destin, FL & sister-in-law Sandy O’Brien of Ashburn, VA. Nephew: Darren L. Reeves; Nieces Laura (O’Brien) Roach, Kathleen (O’Brien) Allen; Bridget (O’Brien) Rosenberg; Krystal (Reeves) Gagliardi; Drew Smith & Kimberly Coon.  Patricia had many great-nieces & nephews that she adored.  Patricia was preceded in death by both parents, brother - Lt. Col Francis W. O’Brien Jr (retd) & sister Mary A. (O’Brien) Morris.

Services will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. in Laurel, MD, Monday, July 31st, 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm—burial at Union Cemetery in Burtonsville, MD.  Burial will be Tuesday, August 1st at 10 am with a graveside service.  Additional gatherings following the burial and those details will be provided.
