Patsy Ardella Ritter
May 23, 1939 — April 14, 2016
Patsy A. Ritter of Jessup, Maryland passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Gilchrist Center in Towson, Maryland. Patsy was born on May 23, 1939 to the late Wittie and the late Lovie (nee Lilly) Southers in Rockbridge County, Virginia.
Mrs. Ritter lived the majority of her life in Maryland where she raised her son, the late Robert Smith and worked assemblying electronic components.
Mrs. Ritter is preceded in death by her husbands Don Thomas and Charles Ritter. Patsy leaves behind her granddaughter, Patricia (nee Smith) Lupton.
Her family recalls that she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also had a passion for playing Bingo, duckpin bowling and going to local Casino’s.
There will be two funeral services in Virgina, the first will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Neriah Baptist Church in Lexington, VA followed by one on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Mt. Zion Church of the Brethern in Luray, VA.
