Paul Donald Johnston

Departed from this earth peacefully on March 7, 2014. He was given to us on January 17, 1949 and has been a honorable member of the Laurel community for over half his time here. He dedicated his life to helping people with the Laurel Police Department as the Chief Communications Specialist, for over 35 years. He will be remembered for his many selfless acts of kindness, and his contagious laugh.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father Helen & William Johnston, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his enormous family including his wife, Julie, his daughter, Patti, and only grandson Julian.

For all that wish to honor this remarkable man and share their stories, services are being held Sunday March 16, at Donaldson Funeral Home from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM with a Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 PM. Afterwards, there will be a celebration of his life, which all are welcome. All donations are being made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
