Pauline (Polly) Marcia McMullen Gould

Born August 11, 1962 in Racine, Wisconsin to Enos and Barbara McMullen.

Died in West Laurel, Maryland April 21, 2021 after a living with stage IV cancer for 7 ½ years.  Survived by her husband Walter Gould, son Dustin Gould, daughter in law Kimberly Elizabeth (Rochow) Gould and grandson Charlie Gould.  She was preceded in death by her son Colin Gould.

Polly graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in early childhood education and loved Wisconsin Badger sports and Packer football.  She received a Master’s Degree in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) from McDaniel College in Westminster Maryland.  Polly taught kindergarten at Miami Gardens Elementary School in Miami, Florida and kindergarten and ESOL at Bond Mill Elementary in West Laurel Maryland for over 30 years.  Polly was proud to be a member of the Laurel Women’s Club.

She will be missed by family and friends.

Polly and her family’s wishes are that everyone get screened for Colon Cancer.
