Peter D. Congedo

Peter Donato Congedo left this world peacefully on February 4, 2024, at the age of 99. He was retired after a lengthy and successful career at the U.S. Department of Labor and as a realtor. He is survived by his devoted wife, Chong, and his five children—Robert, John (Christine), Jeanne, Peter (Cherie), and Donna (Greg). He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Johanna and Pasquale Congedo, and sisters, Dolores, Anne, Mary, and Josephine. He will be greatly missed and will be remembered for his legal acumen, his sense of humor, his gardening expertise, and his dedication to the Lord and His word. Countless individuals have a free Bible that he placed lovingly in their hands. Among all of his accomplishments, the spreading of the Good News was his most noteworthy. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Forcey Bible Church,2130 Randolph Road Silver Spring, MD 20904 on Thursday, February 8 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at which time  funeral service will be be held. Interment with military honors will follow at George Washington Cemetery.
