Phyllis Joan Burek

Phyllis Burek, 76 of Laurel, Maryland died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Laurel Regional Hospital in Laurel, Maryland.

Born Thursday, June 18, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of James Larkin (deceased) and Helen Herr Larkin (deceased). She was the wife of the late John Burek, Jr.

Surviving are sons, Michael Burek of Martinsburg, WV, Sharon E. Bland of Olney, MD, John J. Burek, III of Odenton, MD, Tia Johnson of Edgewater, MD and Timothy Burek of Laurel, MD, She is survived by her grandchildren; Lauren Bland, Jennifer Bland, Vivian Bland, John J. Burek, IV, Amy Johnson, Molly Johnson, William Johnson, Heather Driskill, Timothy Burek, Jr., Ryan Burek, Eddie McFadden, Mellisa McFadden and John McFadden, and her great grandchild Stone Alexander Gomez. Phyllis was the sister of Phoebe Roberts and Patty Clutter and the late James P. Larkin, Jr.,

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday at St. Mary of The Mills Roman Catholic Church, Laurel, MD. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD,
