Ralph Thomas Alexander, Sr.,55, of Laurel, MD died on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Columbia. He was born on June 26, 1956 in Washington, D.C. where he grew up. He graduated from Dunbar High School in 1973 and attended Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. He worked at Tesst College as a Network Engineer, Chevy Chase Country Club, and part time at Hecht Company. He was also an AVID redskins fan.
He is survived by his wife Pamela S. Brown; daughter Angelica Claytor; son Ralph Thomas Alexander, Jr.; siblings Anna, Robert, Audrey, Jeffrey, Chris and the late Gene. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at St. Philips Episcopal Church at 1:30 pm where a memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm. A luncheon will follow at the Wyatt Fellowship Hall at St. Philips. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation, 111 Michigan Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20010.
