Ralph Franklin Hilliard

The following obituary was lovingly submitted by the family of Ralph Hilliard

Ralph Franklin Hilliard passed away at the age of 83 on February 23, 2022. He was born on January 3, 1939, in Pennsylvania, son of the late Charles Franklin Hilliard and Ruth Hilliard (Carrier). He was raised in Pennsylvania where he adopted his love for the outdoors. Ralph was a US Air Force Veteran, who served honorably. He was a very successful business man owning and operating his own business for over 30 yrs. (Launette Inc., laundromats, equipment sales and distribution, parts/service) Ralph became a widower in 2005 from a loving marriage to Joyce Hilliard (Snyder). Ralph is survived by his brother Paul Hilliard, two sisters, Dorothy Shaffer and Veda Moore, his son Bryan F. Hilliard, his daughter Dorinda Pastorek. A loving grandfather to five grandchildren, Laura Mitchell, Jeff Cannon, Gregory Hilliard, Elaina Hilliard and Bryan Rafael Hilliard. Ralph was an outdoorsman who loved nature and all that surrounds it. An avid hunter (Gamesman) and golf player. He had a brilliant mind for business and all business concepts. Ralph admirrred close friends, and family traditional l values. He was a loyal, generous, admirable, honorable man, who tried to lead by example. If you were a friend of Ralph Hilliard’s, “you knew it.”

Ralph will be dearly missed by anyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Life ceremony is schedule for April 2, 2022, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at 15709 Wayne Ave Laurel MD 20707.
