Raymond Joseph Prior, Jr.

Raymond Joseph Prior, Jr., a longtime resident of Greenbelt and formerly of Laurel, passed away on April 23, 2017 at his home. He was 64. He was born January 10, 1953 to the late Raymond and Eileen Prior in Riverdale, MD. Raymond was a graduate of Laurel High School in 1971. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years. He was an avid golfer at Gunpowder Golf Course and was a sports enthusiast.
Raymond is survived by his daughter Skylar R. Lindsey of Oilville, PA; siblings Mary Claire Madera and her husband Marty of Laurel, MD, Catherine Diffell and her husband Jerry of Blacksburg, VA, Anne Marie Stillman of Richmond, VA, and George Prior and his wife Nancy of Jessup, MD. He is also survived by his Aunt Winnie Morgans and Uncle Robert Marton of Laurel, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
