Regina Andrea ("Gina") Atkins

Regina  ”Gina”  Andrea  Atkins a resident of Laurel for 28 years, passed away on April 13, 2015 at her home.  She was 81 years old.   Was born September 24, 1933 in Wilkesbarre, Pa.,to the late John Robert and Alice Lawson. She graduated from Central High School in Scranton, Pa. and moved to Washington, D.C. after college. She worked for C & P Telephone Company as an office manager and retired after 35 years as an executive with AT&T. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and received her sobriety Medallion of 35 years. She is survived by her daughter Patrice A Sams, dear sister of Georgia “Bunny” Bart, and brother Jack Lawson, granddaughter Jacqueline R. Sams  and niece Joanne Lawson.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A.  313 Talbott Avenue Laurel, Maryland 20707 on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where a funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 4 pm.
