Regina Smith

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and family member, Regina Lenora Watts Smith passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday August 19th, 2023. She was born on March 29, 1918 and was the eldest daughter of ten siblings, and raised in Savage Md. She worked at the Savage Mill like her Father Samuel Watts as a young adult. She married Charles Norman Smith and they were married 30 years until Charles' passing in 1966. They had three children, Norma (deceased), Charles, and Timmy Smith. She loved to cook, fashion, rides in the country, picking apples, holding babies, and her favorite pastime was having conversations and laughing with her family and friends. Regina’s “happy go lucky” attitude and her compassion for people were the key to her long life. She was a bright light for so many and always had a smile to share. She will be forever in our hearts. She is survived by her two sons, two daughters in laws, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Service arrangements Wednesday August 23rd at Emmanuel Methodist Church, 10755 Scaggsville Rd, Laurel, MD 20723 Visitation 10am-1pm Church and burial service 1pm.
