Richard B. "Dick" Stranathan

STRANATHAN, Richard Barry, 81, Columbia, MD beloved husband of late Vivian Rachel Stranathan passed from life to life eternal on December 4, 2012. Born May 30, 1931 in Akron, Ohio, to the late Ronald Joseph Morris Stranathan and Inez Faye Stranathan. He served in the United States Air Force and transferring into civil service with the National Security Agency from which he retired in 1994.
He is predeceased by his brother Warren Joseph Stranathan of Van Buren, AK and is survived by his brother Dale Carlos Stranathan of Edgewood, TX. He is survived by his five sons and their wives: Michael and Dora of Ebensburg, PA; Martin and Ellen of Crownsville. MD; Mark of Randallstown, MD, Malcolm and Jacki of Columbia, MD and Matthew and Lisa of Shrewsbury, PA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. A Service of Death and Resurrection will be held on December 7th 7pm at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 12430 Scaggsville Rd (Route 216), Highland, MD.
