Richard B. Mcnulty

Richard Byrd McNulty, a longtime Maryland resident, passed away at his son’s residence in Silver Spring on Sunday, December 27, 2015.  He was 85.  He was born on January 28, 1930 to the late James and Irene McNulty of Boston, MA.  He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Pius X Chapter.  He retired from Babb Food, Inc. after 20 + years of service.  He loved playing golf and being with his family.  Gifted with a charming personality and a  wonderful sense of humor, he touched the lives of many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Anne McNulty and brother Fred McNulty.   He is survived by his devoted children Mary Garback and husband Ron, Francis McNulty and wife Marilynn, John McNulty and wife Theresa, James McNulty, Richard McNulty and wife Deborah, Irene Sabadics and husband Steve, Anne McNulty Spath and husband Mike, Elizabeth Gibbs and husband John, Owen McNulty and wife Charyl, Kevin McNulty and partner Pete; his older brother James McNulty; his 17 loving grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
