Richard T. Stellabuto

July 21, 1939 — May 10, 2014

Richard T. Stellabuto, beloved husband of the late Doris Stellabuto, passed away on May 10, 2014 at his home in Jessup, MD. He was born on July 21, 1939, in Punxsutawney, PA, to Antonio and Margaret Stellabotta. Mr. Stellabuto was a computer programmer, for 30 years, at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. He is survived by his sons Scott J. Stellabuto, Anthony Stellabuto and Richard M. Stellabuto; sisters Amelia Thompson, Linda Conser and Geraldine Troutman (all of Punxsutawney, PA); brothers Bill Stellabuto (Rochester, NY) and John Stellabuto (Punxsutawney, PA). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Stellabuto was predeceased by his siblings Jim Stellabuto, Eugene "Gino" Stellabuto, Caroline Ritchey and Rita Heckman. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary's Place, Laurel, beginning at 10 am. Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
