Richard W. Vigar

Richard W. Vigar, 79, passed away on December 10, 2016 at Holy Cross Hospital.

He was raised in Burtonsville and then went to serve 30 years in the United States Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer.

Richard, whom we all know as “Dicky” is survived by two siblings, Johanne Cole and Loraine Young as well as 20 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 beginning at 3:00 PM.
