On March 30, 2015 Riley L. Carr, beloved husband of 53 years to Donna Carr (nee Riddle) devoted father of Riley Wayne Carr, Ronda Carpenter and her husband Greg: Lisa Smith and her husband Curt; loving grandfather of Pam, Jason, Justin, Sara, Dustin, and Dalton Carr, Katie Hyrowski, Kristi, Brad, Jacqui and Jenni Carpenter and Rileigh Smith; cherished great grandfather of Casen Knister and the late Alan John Hyrowski; dear brother of Margaret Harrison, Beulah Mae Lubis, Naomi Kaiser and the late Doyle, Burke, Phelps, Doug, David Carr and Clairise Long; best friend of Tommy Hammer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue Laurel, Maryland 20707 on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 am, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church 10755 Scaggsville Rd, Laurel, MD 20723. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
