Robert B. Cater Jr.

Robert Baden Cater Jr., 65, of Laurel, MD  was called home to the Lord on January 27, 2018.  Robby was born in 1952 in Washington, DC.  He enjoyed Horseracing, Washington Redskins, Washington Nationals, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.  He loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor.  Robby was an educator at heart and there was always a valuable life lesson to be learned in his conversations.  His warmth, love and passion showed in everything he did.  He was retired from Potomac Electric Power Co., PEPCo.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary, three sisters Cathy, Julie and Donna; daughter Emma; son Alex; and three grandchildren Xander, Emery and Reid.

A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church 114 St. Mary's Place, Laurel MD 20707.   Robby had a love for animals, especially dogs, memorial donations may be made in Robby's name to Fidos For Freedon, Inc .  1200 Sandy Spring Road, Laurel, MD 20707 or The SPCA of Maryland. http://www.mdspca.org/give/
