Robert John Hafler, Sr. was born February 28, 1941 and passed away March 30, 2021. He was born to John S. Hafler and Blanche Hafler (Palmer) in Pennsylvania.
Robert attended and was a member of Laurel Presbyterian Church and served in the United States Air Force from October 3, 1961 – October 2, 1967.
He was an insurance agent and retired from Sun Life Insurance.
Robert enjoyed umpiring little league baseball, refereeing basketball, keeping baseball box scores, reading comics, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Dian A. Hafler, son John (and his wife Kenni; their children, Matt, Brandon, Cory, Emily), daughter Cindy Hammond (and her son, Scott), son Tom (and his children, Sydney, Natalie, and Jack), son Bobby (and his wife, Amanda and their son, Britton).
