Robert O. Mitchell

Robert (Bob) Mitchell, 77 formerly of Laurel MD passed away peacefully June 27, 2024.

He was born to Herman Steward Mitchell and Anna Mary Mitchell in 1946. Robert (Bob) was a Lifetime member of the Moose, holding several admin positions including: Governor of Laurel Lodge 1504 and was honored with a Pilgrim Degree of Merit. Bob retired from Laurel Post Office after serving the community for 35+ years as a letter carrier. He enjoyed trips to PA Dutch Market, talking O’s and Ravens, watching the MD horse races online and was an avid bowler and golfer.

He is survived by his Aunt Ruth, Brother Buddy, Son Kevin, Daughter Laura, Daughter-In-Law Rachael, 3 Granddaughters: Kaila, Ashley and Lucy; 4 Great Grandkids: Jayion, Kaedyn, Khorey and Kaleb and many Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Ma Mitchell, parents and his wife Belinda.

The family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel on Tuesday, July 2 from 12 until 1 PM when the funeral service will begin.
