Robert Wilson Zambreny, 80, of Laurel, Maryland, passed away on November 11, 2017.
He was born in 1936 to Wilson and Mildred Zambreny in Washington, DC
Bob was a member of Resurrection of our Lord Roman Catholic Church
Retired Potomac Electric Power Company
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling with his wife, hanging with his dog of 14 years; Scrappy, cheering on his beloved Washington Redskins and Washington Nationals, cooking, gardening and going to the track.
Survived by his 5 children; Deborah, Karen, Robert Jr, James and Christine. His 12 grandchildren Taylor, Harrison, Amy, Rebecca, Michael, Matthew, Heather, Nick, John, Jessica, Anna and Grace, 11 great grandchildren, his Aunt Dorothy Taylor and brother Alan Zambreny.
Preceded by his wife of 54 years Mary Patricia (Shoap), his parents Wilson and Mildred Zambreny, his sister Nandine Zambreny O'Neill.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 6 to 8 at Resurrection of our Lord Roman Catholic, 8402 Brock Bridge Road, Laurel, MD 20724
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Church.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Burtonsville.
