Roger Grumbine

On Monday, September 24, 2012, Roger "Grumpy" Grumbine passed away at his home in Laurel. Mr. Grumbine was employed as a correctional officer for nearly 20 years. He is survived by his wife Melissa A. Grumbine and his son Russell Adam Grumbine. He is also survived by his parents Dorinda and Ronnie Grumbine and many loved family and friends. Mr. Grumbine was predeceased by his biological father Thomas Nichols; grandmothers Charlotte Ann Evans and Helen Mae Reed: great-grandmother Dora Virginia DeLauder and his uncle William Eugene Hite. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in the chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. where services will begin at 8 pm. Interment will be at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Grumbine's name to the Best Buddies of Maryland, c/o Reservoir High School, 11550 Scaggsville Rd., Fulton, MD 20759.
