Roger Rivera
July 4, 1948 — August 22, 2017
Roger Rivera, 69 of Elkridge, MD died of pancreatic cancer at home on August 22th 2017.
Born in Santiago,Chile to Julia & Pablo Rivera in 1948.
He worked for the Diplomatic Corp in Chile. After immigrating to Phoenix, AR, he worked for several years designing furniture. Coming to MD, he found work at Vantage House in Columbia where he worked in the Maintenance Department for 19 years until his retirement in 2016.
Roger was a warm and generous man who laughed easily and always loved a good joke.
He leaves behind his wife Monica and his son Charlie, age 12.
Visitation will be on Saturday August 26th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection of Our Lord RC Church, 8402 Brock Bridge Rd, Laurel.
A bruncheon will be served following the service.
