Ronald Dean Keesee ("Ronman") passed away on August 13, 2014. Born in Washington, DC, he resided in the Laurel area for most of his life. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was an active member of American Legion Post #60 where he had served on the Executive Committee. Ronman was retired from the WSSC where he had worked as a Water and Sewer Design Technician. He loved to fish, golf, and was a devoted Washington Redskins fan. He is preceded in death by his father Carl Ray Keesee. He is survived by his wife of 16 years Joanne Keesee, children Heather Keesee and JD McGurk, mother Catherine H. Kackley, step-father Roynal J. Kackley, twin sister Jackie Keesee McGarry, sisters Mary Kackley-Harris, and Margaret Kackley, brothers Bobby Keesee, Ricky Kackley, and Joseph Kackley. He is also survived by four grandchildren Katelyn, Hunter, Dean, and Caleb. Donations may be made in his memory to American Legion Post #60, 2 Main St., Laurel, MD 20707, or Hospice of the Chesapeake ( www.hospicechesapeake.org ).
