Rose F. Lomangino, an active member of the Laurel community for decades, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 with her family by her side. In addition to her talents as an award-winning artist, she loved to cook, bake and play bridge. Rose was a member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society, the Patuxent Art League, and former president of the Laurel Art Guild. She was married to Thomas F. Lomangino, chief toxiocologist for the State of Maryland, from 1945 until his death in 1984. She is survived by her family; daughters Nicole House (Russ) of Atlanta, Ga., Donna Lomangino of Arlington, Va., Angela Lomangino (Robert Gengerke) of Holmdel, NJ. and her son Thomas F. Lomangino Jr. (Nancy) of Laurel, Md. and her grandchildren- Joseph, Jennifer, Michael, Alyssa and James Lomangino, Thomas House and James Gengerke. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Donaldson Funeral Home, PA. 313 Talbot Avenue on Friday from 6 until 9 pm. Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 1 pm. at the Maryland National Memorial Park.
