Ruth Ohler Fletcher

Ruth Ohler Fletcher, a longtime resident of Laurel, passed away on May 24, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 19, 1924 to the late William O. and Lucy M. Ohler. She was a member of St. Philips Episcopal Church in Laurel and a life member of the Eastern Star Naomi #3 and Friendship #17. Ruth worked for Senator Carl T. Curtis of Nebraska for 27 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Lucy (Dee) Murphy. She is survived by her loving children Nancy Hope Dehlinger and her husband James and Wayne W. Fletcher and his wife Kelly; grandchildren Joshua Lee Fletcher and James Ludwell Lee Dehlinger; and great-grandchildren Jacob Thomas and Katherine Elizabeth Fletcher.
An Eastern Star service and memorial service will be held at St. Philips Episcopal Church beginning at 2 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Inurnment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
