Sandra Janelle Graves, 71 of Laurel, passed away suddenly on Monday September 25, 2017.
She was born on July 22, 1946 in North Carolina and raised in the Great Smokey Mountains to Jay and Isabella Hyder-Blackwell in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Sandy retired from 40 plus years in property management. She enjoyed her Great Smokey Mountains, playing with the New Baby Bears and vistiting with her friends and family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years Gary Graves Sr.;her brother, Tony Blackwell and wife Nada; her best friend Aunt Louise Blackwell; her beloved dog Patches; daughters Rhonda, Dana and spouse Sylvia; a son Russell and wife Stephanie; Step-children, Gary Graves Jr.; Mary Ventura-Sanchez; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents.
