Sandra Vreeland Dixon McClintick, 83, of Bradford passed away on May 30th, 2024, at Genesis-Fairland Center in Silver Spring, MD. Sandy was born on October 30, 1940, in Bradford, Pennsylvania to Dan Malcom and Alice Genevieve Vreeland. She lived in Bradford for 79 years, serving as a homemaker, raising her children, and caring for her family. She moved to Oklahoma in 2019 before moving to Maryland in 2021.

She is survived by her sister Patty Little (Glair) of Smyrna, TN; sons Tim Dixon (Lucinda) of Laurel, MD and Aarron Dixon (Jacquelyn Lee) of Lancing, TN; stepsons John McClintick Jr. (Stacy) of Bradford and Scott McClintick (Dawn Kelly) of Bradford, PA; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Genevieve Vreeland, husbands, Bob Dixon and John B. McClintick Sr, sons Jonathan Dixon and Tom Dixon.

Sandy had a creative spirit and loved writing poetry, making crafts, and gardening. She also enjoyed reading books, watching football and studying genealogy. Sandy attended Bradford First Church of the Nazarene for almost her entire life and loved singing hymns. She was beloved by her family and friends and will be missed.

Memorial services celebrating her life will be held 11:00 AM July 20th, 2024, at Bradford First Church of the Nazarene, 55 N Bennett St, Bradford, PA 16701.
