Shirley Ann Chittams

Shirley went home to the Lord on Friday, November 8th, 2013. She was born May 5th, 1936 and preceded in death by her husband Bernard along with her sisters Peggy and Gloria and her brothers Lloyd and Tracy. Shirley is survived by her four children Arthur, Victoria, Jeffrey, and Michael as well as her siblings William Jones and Angela Patten along with 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Shirley was best known for her zest of living life and her strong positive attitude no matter what the circumstances. She will be greatly missed and best remembered for always being the most gracious host and bringing the laughter to any gathering whether at her many Laurel neighborhood BBQs or manning the fish station at the annual Duckettsville Day Event.

The family invites her many friends and loved ones to reflect on her life and generous spirit on Saturday, November 23rd 2013, at 11am at the Knights of St. John's Hall located at 13004 12th Street in Bowie, MD 20715.
