Shirley Faye [Hudson] Athey 83 of Laurel, MD passed away October 31, 2021. She was born on November 7, 1937 to late parents: John Hudson and Jewell Myrtie [Cotton] Hudson.
She lived in the Maryland City area and worked as a food checker for Giant Food and Grand Union. She worked in Real Estate with Hollis Brown Real Estate and with Jim Fischette in Real Estate Ventures.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James Melvin Athey; sister, Dell Brock; 2 sons: James Jaye Athey and Donald Ray Henderson; 2 granddaughters: Stephanie and Jamie and 3 great-grandsons: J.R., and twins John and Jaxon.
