Stanley E. Allen, Sr.
January 23, 1929 — June 11, 2015
Stanley E. Allen, Sr., of Falling Waters, WV and a longtime resident of Laurel passed away on June 11, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. He was 86. He was born on January 23, 1929 to the late Norman and Clara Allen. Stanley retired from the Department of Agriculture after 35 years. Following retirement, Stanley and his wife Margie spent the next 25 years in Florida before moving to West Virginia to be closer to their sons. He enjoyed woodworks and sold his work at craftshows.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two grandsons Tony and Martin Allen and 3 siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Margie C. Allen; loving sons Stanley Allen Jr., Martin Allen and Bob Allen; grandchildren Stanley, Melissa, Marja, Robbie, Ronnie, Faith, Reagan, Shawn, and Kody. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
