Stanley H. Souder

Stanley H. Souder, 89 of Catonsville passed away April 1, 2018.

He was born in 1928 to Edgar H. Souder and Ada Souder in Laurel Maryland. The seventeeth child of eighteen.

Stanley was a member of Charlestown Community Church, and a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard (Merchant Seaman’s), and the United States Army.

He was a retired Master Plumber.

He enjoyed horse back riding, Casino games, Solitare, and loved watching boxing.  He was multi talented and could build or repair most things, and loved serving others. He also enjoyed dancing with his wife Peggy whenever possible. Most of all he loved reading and studying The Holy Bible, and sharing the love of Christ with others.

He is survived by his children Debbie Ruppert, Edgar Souder and Laurie Orndorff. Son in laws, Pete and Jerry, Daughter in law Sherry. Grandchildren, Brian, Matthew, Jacob, Lacey, Crystal and Brandon.  Great Grandchildren Ava, Austin, Isabelle, Everleigh, Devin, Alyssa and Hunter.

Visitation will be on Wednesday at the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707 from 4:00- 7:00. Funeral Services at Our Lady of Angels Chapel in Charlestown Retirement Community, Catonsville Maryland on Thursday 12:00 noon.
