Steven Rice

Steven Rice, age 65, passed away in Columbia, Maryland on Monday, March 14th, 2022.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, son of Oliver Rice and Barbara Hundley. Steven spent his younger years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida before eventually relocating to Columbia, Maryland. In Maryland he worked in various positions in the defense industry for Advanced Programs, Inc., and most recently as President & CEO. Steven was a proud Florida Gators fan, an avid golfer, and a beloved family man.

Steven is survived by his three children Bruce Rice, Spencer Rice, and Shelby Rice, his granddaughter Scarlett Rice, his three sisters Debi Daugherty, Dian Moorhouse, and Dana Rice, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, March  25th, 2022 from 11-12 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707.  A memorial service will be held at 12 PM immediately following and will be livestreamed HERE . Relatives and friends are welcome at The Turn House, 11130 Willow Bottom Drive, Columbia, MD on Friday, March 25th 2022 from 2-4 PM.
