Sue E. Grady

Sue Elizabeth Grady, age 95, of Columbia, Maryland passed away on May 24, 2020.

She was born on January 20, 1925, to Evern Sanders and Susie Duinker in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

She lived in Harwood and retired from Steele and Sons as their Vice President.  She moved  to Rehoboth Beach and lived there for years after her retirement, moving to an apartment in Columbia after her husband died to be near her nieces, Karen and Hélène. After a stroke in 2015 she moved to Assisted Living at Harmony Hall and later to Lorien Encore.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was always in for a good joke.  She loved cooking for friends and family. Giving her nieces’ dog Rose a massage was something she really enjoyed.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews and their families and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Bernard Grady, her sisters Jeanne Delevett and Mary Louise Spence, and her brother Joe Sanders.

She will be cremated and her remains will be interred at Savage Cemetery in the Grady family site at a later date.
