Thelma V. Schaeffer

On Friday, October 12, 2012, Thelma V. Schaeffer passed away at her home in Laurel. Mrs. Schaeffer was born in Gainesville, Virginia to Noah and Maude Mayhugh on August 5, 1919. She is survived by her children; Maude (Owen) Merson, Bonnie Beall, Faye (Richard) Silverman, Thelma Marie (Ronald) Woolfrey, Gerald L. Schaeffer, Benjamin F. Schaeffer and Stacey (Barbara) Schaeffer. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Friends may on Tuesday, October 16, from 7 until 9 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 11 am, at the Hope Baptist Church, 8801 Stephens Road, Laurel, MD 20723. Interment will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
