Thomas H. Boyle

October 21, 1930 — January 25, 2012

Mr. Thomas H. Boyle passed away on January 25, 2012. Mr. Boyle moved from Kingston, PA to Laurel in 1946 and graduated from Laurel High School in 1948. He served in the United States Navy from 1950 - 1954 and served as a salvage diver. Mr. Boyle then joined the United States Air Force, serving from 1956 - 1960. After his time in the service, Mr. Boyle became a letter carrier for the US Postal Service, retiring after 30 years. He was a member of the National Letter Carriers Union, Salvage Divers Reunited and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, of 47 years, Frances A. Boyle. He is survived by his sons Walter and Patrick Boyle and his step-son Michael Sellner and his sisters Alice Duvall and Mary Maddox. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 7 until 9 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park on Saturday, February 4 at 10 am.
