Thomas Bateman White, III “CC”, a resident of Laurel for over 40 years, passed away on December 25, 2015 at Howard County General Hospital. He was 79. He was born on August 15, 1936 to the late Thomas and Catherine White. He was a graduate of St. Anthony High School in Northeast D.C. in 1954. He retired from both the Naval Ordnance Laboratory in White Oak and Applied Physics Lab (APL) in Laurel. He was an Honorary Member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2809.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Luella Kaye White; loving great-grandson Jullian R. Welch; 2 children; sister Renie Armstrong-Zangla; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Elizabeth Marie and sister Paula Jeanne Veavers.
