Thomas Edward Zupancic, age 69, passed away in Laurel, Maryland, on February 6, 2025. He was a beloved Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Friend, and extremely passionate sports fan.
Born March 20, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the Son of Anthony and Angela (Zugel) Zupancic. He lived in Germany, Okinawa, Wyoming, Louisiana, and Maryland, and worked in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked in the hospitality and automotive industries until his final retirement in 2021. Tom was a member of St. Mary of the Mills Church and The American Legion.
Tom is survived by his wife, May Cudal Omalay-Zupancic, his brother, Anthony Zupancic, his daughter, Charlotte (Zupancic), and son-in-law, James Dundon III, his grandchildren, Drew, Ella & Harper Bryant, Jackson, Mason, Jillian, and Victoria Dundon, nephew, Anthony Zupancic III and niece, Grace McGuire (Zupancic), his mother-in-law Angelita Cudal Omalay, sister-in-law, Rosita Cudal Omalay and many more loving relatives. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Angela, his brother, Timothy, his sister-in-law Jane.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12th, from 4-8pm at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave (Rte 198 West), Laurel, MD, 20707. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 Saint Mary’s Place, Laurel, MD, 20707, on Thursday, February 13th, 11am.
