Trude E. Brisbois

August 4, 1930 — January 21, 2021

Trude Elisabeth Brisbois, 90, passed away on January 21, 2021 with her family by her side.

Trude was born in Ilvesheim, Germany, to her parents Heinrich and Anna Grieser. She met the love of her life, Army Sergeant Alfred T. Brisbois, who was serving in Germany, and they wed in 1950. They jointly served our country, while raising two children at various military bases across the United States and Germany, before they settled in the United States in 1953.

Trude was pre-deceased by her husband Al of 65 years. She is survived by her son Frederick Brisbois and wife Susan of Guilford, Connecticut; daughter Mary Bixler, and husband Brian, of Laurel, Maryland; sister Doris Keller of Ilvesheim, Germany; brother Gerhard Grieser and wife Renate of Seckenheim, Germany; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, of whom she loved and adored; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

Trude was passionate in her support of the U.S. Army. She had countless flags and patriotic decorations that she proudly displayed. She always enjoyed the friendly Army-Navy rivalry with her son-in-law Brian, a Navy Veteran. You could hear her rooting for her favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees. She also enjoyed listening to country western music and watching court shows such as Judge Judy. Trude was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

A funeral Mass will be held at: The Resurrection of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church 8402 Brock Bridge Road, Laurel, MD on Friday, February 5th at 11 AM.
