Wanda Lee Haag, of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away on July 29, 2024. She was 98 years old. She was born on June 27, 1926 to Rollie J. Hall and Anna Hall (Clay) and raised in a small mining town in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.

Wanda graduated as high school valedictorian, then moved to Washington DC during World War II to become legal secretary for the Federal Government. She enjoyed bowling, golf, reading, poetry, shopping, and, after retirement, she traveled the world. At the end of the day, she always enjoyed a glass of Port. She will be missed.

Wanda was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry S. Haag Jr.; Siblings Katherine L. Hall, and Ralph J. Hall. She is survived by her children, Kenneth M. Haag (Kathy), Gary J. Haag (Patricia) and Kathy Harrigan (Michael); Grandchildren Kevin Haag (Tanya), Ryan Harrigan (Dani Peterson), Sean Harrigan, Christina Haag, and Christopher Haag (Ashley); Great-Grandchildren Katie Haag, Madeline Haag and Henry Harrigan.

A private graveside service will be held for Wanda on Saturday, August 3rd 2024 at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
