Warren James Hook

Warren James "Jim" Hook, Sr., passed away at his home on Tuesday January 3, 2012. Mr. Hook was a resident of Laurel since 1968 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Metropolitan Baseball Umpiring Association, Boumi Temple, the Laurel Moose Lodge and was a Life Member of the NRA. Mr. Hook graduated from the Valley forge Military Academy and worked as an electronic tracking equipment installer for both NASA and NSA.
Mr. Hook is survived by his wife Darlene Hook; daughter Mary Suzanne Hook; son Warren James Hook, Jr.; step daughter Darlene Roberts and three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. His first wife, Harriet H. Hook, passed away in 1990.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, in the chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., where services will be held on Friday at 10 am. Interment will be in Columbia Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Memory of Harriet H. Hook, to the American Cancer Society, 11331 Amherst Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902.
