Wayne Delmer Judy

On Tuesday, July 22, 2014, Wayne D. Judy of West Laurel, MD, passed away peacefully at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by family which included this beloved wife of 58 years, Mary G. (Gen) Judy and devoted children Wayne David Judy (Cindy) of Terra Alta, WVA and Kathy Lynn Muth (Mike) of Raleigh, NC. He is survived by four granddaughters: Alicia Rosser, Andi Bunting, Kristin Barbour, and Kari Owen, all of North Carolina. Also left to mourn are seven great-grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Wayne was born on May 11, 1934 in Pennsylvania, the 10th child of David Preston Judy and Orpha Jerald Furlow. Raised and educated primarily in Hyattsville, MD, he met the former Gen Bremerman in 1954. They were married in 1956 and began their family with the arrival of Wayne David a year later, and Kathy Lynn's birth in late 1958 completed the family.

After moving to West Laurel in the late sixties, Wayne embarked on a very successful career as an Account Executive for Precise Chemical & Equipment LTD., in Washington, DC. He often spoke of his Precise family as being second in importance only to God and his family. He retired in 1996.

In retirement he enjoyed his passions for golf, tennis and tending to his home.

After receiving his diagnosis, Wayne faced the future with his characteristic optimism and humor. He was blessed to be able to leave this world on his own terms, in his own home and with his loving family by his side.
