Wendell Joe Duncan

Wendell Joe Duncan passed away in Laurel, MD on August 27th, 2022, which was his 86th Birthday.

He was born on August 27th, 1936 in Fannie, AR. He was the son of Zeph McLain Duncan and Cortez Stachey Duncan. Joe was a 32 year Army veteran who lived in many cities throughout the world, and also served two tours in Vietnam. He retired in 1991 and founded Duncan Services, Inc. along with his son, Michael Duncan in 1994.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary Annette Duncan of Mountain Pine, AR., His brothers James Duncan of Hot Springs, AR., and Morris Duncan of Royal, AR.

Joe is survived by his three children, Angela Kinzer (Bud Kinzer), Rhonda Duncan and Michael Duncan, his four grandchildren Andrew Kinzer, Shelby Duncan, Allison Kinzer and Colin Duncan, as well as his significant other and soulmate Chong Son of Laurel, MD.

Joe is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and loved ones, including his sister-in-laws and friends of 67 years, Linda Scott of Mountain Pine, AR and Sue Loyd of Pearcy, AR.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the National Museum of the United States Army where Joe was a founding member.

Services for Joe will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 2pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home in Laurel, MD, with a visitation starting at 1:30pm.
