Willene Diana Keenum passed away on December 12, 2014 at the Dove House Hospice in Westminster,
MD. She was born in Warm Springs, Arkansas on March 18, 1916. Her parents were Rufus Stubblefield and Kate (Conn) Stubblefield. Willene was married to U.S. Army Lt. Col. John Carroll Keenum (Ret.) (deceased). Willene attended Arkansas College. She became a Registered Medical Technologist and member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Willene was first employed at the Kansas City General Hospital as a Medical Technologist. While raising her children she work assisting a doctor in his private practice and later became a Medical Research Assistant at the University of Maryland. Willene enjoyed her Bible study group, caring for her flower gardens and was an artisan with ceramics and oil painting. Willene was preceded in death by her Husband, John, her Daughter, Kristine (Keenum) Sackett and her Sister, Elizabeth (Stubblefield) Price. Willene is survived Sons, John (Diana) and Scott (Christy); Sister, Roberta (Stubblefield) Jones; Nieces, Pamela (Price) Cunerd and Deborah Jones; Nephew, Mark Jones; Grandchildren, Kristina (Jim), Lisa (Joel), John (Christine), Chad, Matt and Christian; great-Grandchildren, Suzannah, Timothy, Gabriel, Lilly, Phillip, Kayla, Lorelai, Emily and Olivia; Willene will be laid to rest next to her husband at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Donaldson Funeral Home, Laurel, MD.
