William George "Bill" French

In Remembrance of Bill French Jr.

Bill French Jr, a resident of Laurel Maryland died unexpectedly on February 4, 2018. He was born on April 15th,1966 in Maryland to Bill French Sr and Grace (Abbate) French

Bill graduated from Fairmont High School in 1984 after which Bill worked various jobs. Bill started working for Amtrak in the Commissary in 1986. While working at Amtrak Bill went back to school part time at Computer Learning Center where Bill received his certificate in computers. Bill continued working at Amtrak until May 2000 when Bill started working for DC Government as Senior Network Engineer.

Throughout his life Bill had many interests. Bill loved to play Dungeons and Dragons which lead to World of War Craft which he played many hours with his best friend Kevin O'Neil of 36 years and his nephew BJ. Bill also loved Martial Arts. Bill was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and one of his favorite things was to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers win all the time. Bill loved spending time with his mother Grace and Step Father Bear. Bill also loved going to the Ocean and White-Water Rafting with his nephews.

Bill is survived by his wife Amy Griffin of 30 years who resides in Laurel MD, Grace Abbate Swisher his mother who resides in Ocean City MD and his nephews BJ and CJ who reside in Baltimore MD.
