William H. "Butch" Maxwell Maxwell

William H. "Butch" Maxwell, III passed away at the Howard County General Hospital on Sunday, November 23, 2014. He was born in Washington, D.C., on December 8, 1942, to the late William H. and Amelia Maxwell, II. Mr. Maxwell worked as a commercial property engineer and also served in the United States Air Force. Butch is survived by his sons William H. "Butch" Maxwell, IV and Matthew W. "Billy" Maxwell and his wife Alma. He is also survived by his sister Amelia Maxwell Henry and his grandchild Kendall Cameryn Maxwell as well as his longtime partner Joan C. Collins. A visitation will be held in the chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD on Friday, November 28, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Interment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
