William John Foster

William John Foster, a resident of the Laurel area, passed away on February 2, 2017 at Laurel Regional Hospital.  He was 74.  He was born February 13, 1942 to Pearl and the late William Foster.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to travel to his cabin in Pennsylvania.  He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Laurel.   He retired from the federal government after 33 years.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son Tony and brother Stewart.  He is survived by his mother Pearl Lorraine Foster; step-son Chris Foster; siblings Alice Rose, Melvin Earl, Robert Steven, and Lawrence F. Foster; and 2 grandchildren.
